ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Lead investment-level business plan execution and adaptation including regular property tours
• Guide Associates, Analysts, and external team members
• Develop relationships and lead negotiations with joint venture partners, third parties and capital market participants
• Lead transaction process for sales and refinances
• Review financial and operational performance utilizing Pennybacker α^TM
• Accountable for financial statement analysis, models, and scenario analysis
• Guide market and competitive property research
• Prepare Investment Committee materials and communicate clear and concise recommendations to internal committees
• Proactively identify emerging investment themes and strategies
• Ad hoc projects, white papers, and presentations

QUALIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

• 7+ years’ experience in real estate investing
• Technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Argus, and research tools (CoStar, RCA, Greenstreet)
• Teamwork: Contributes to building a positive team environment
